And so I’ll begin revealing my drama. Since i arrived at kingston i’ve been looking for a job. something that pays well and doesn’t necessarily needs lots of time. I applied at Starbucks and actually got the job but did not go, since they wanted me to do the training again (i worked at starbucks in Cyprus as well) and i wasn’t willing to do it again (Deja Vu). So I kept looking.. Days were passing by and i had to finish my system analysis design project so i was locked up in my room for more than 2 days. When I actually decided to go out I received a letter from my bank saying that I had forgotten to credit my account and since I had 3 current direct debits , I was charged £30 for each direct debit. Let’s do the math together 3x£30 = 90. I was panicked. £90 ???? £90 = 2 months gym + a night out or a diesel jean or a Gucci belt + £20 or 3 sweaters from H&M !! What was I supposed to tell my dad?????? I was already suffering from an economical crisis and now extra £90 for what? Nothing!! I had to take some actions… It was Saturday and the bank was closed so I decided to call them. (they have a 24h telephone service) The lady on the phone was really rude and told me that no matter what I had to pay the charges. I was even considering to terminate the account or never pay the money and switch to another bank! I couldn’t wait till Monday.. I kept thinking about it. I had to do something.. I decided to call my geek friend Maria.SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING.(and when i say everything i mean everything *hint* ) With her incredible English language skills,she helped me write a letter to the bank telling them how upset I was. Still that wasn’t enough. I wanted to do more.. My friend Athos suggested making a Cause at facebook and hoping that someone will donate money , and so I did. Monday finally came and I rushed to the bank where a lady assisted me. I told her what happened(with some extra salt and pepper)and that I couldn’t afford to pay the charges. She was kind enough to delete the charges from the system but warning me that this could not happen again! I guess I was happy, but the drama did not end! I wanted more money to buy clothes,gadgets and anything useless that will make me happy lol . I was walking by Gap and decided to enter. Great clothes BUT really expensive. I thought about working there and maybe getting a good discount?? Unfortunately they weren’t hiring. And so i lack from ideas on how to get fast money.any suggestions?     left, my name is spelt M-A-R-I-J-A, lol, not maria!haha! oh the times when you were so stressed with your assignment and all we wanted to do was eat! get a job u tramp!iv got one,lol. cant wait till 7 then we can make dinner. are u excited? i have no money at all, im so skint its crazy and i have to wait 1 month till i get my pay cheque, not happy. better start my assignments, lol x
